Beacon Place
Achieve WE visited Beacon Place in Waukegan, IL, where we talked with kids about what role they play in their community and how they perceive their family's identity. They drew art that shows something they feel is special about themselves and/or their family. Beacon Place is a community center that empowers families and kids with food, nutrition, and academics.
