Recently, I was able to present my work with Achieve WE at the Citizen University Youth Collaboratory, a group of students who are committed to social and civic action. I was honored to introduce Achieve WE to my peers and to make connections adult civic innovators around the country. This was the last of three Collaboratory meetings, where we were able to flesh out projects impacting our communities with feedback from our peers. I built the Community Partnership Project's framework within Citizen University and I'm working with students and adults to connect the Projects with other organizations. Being part of this group was incredibly inspiring as every student involved is motivated, visionary, and committed to taking action in order to make change.
